I am honored to serve the staff, students and community of Union Park Elementary and the Braswell Zone. It's hard to believe we are entering our fifth year as a school community. Being part of the staff that opened Union Park in 2019 has been very rewarding. I have enjoyed getting to know so many of you and helping our Pioneers reach their fullest potential. I am excited about the journey we are taking together this year as "Game Changers"! I look forward to building relationships and partnering with new families and continuing to partner and strengthen relationships with our returning families.

This is my twenty-eighth year in education and eleventh year serving as principal. I have held the position as an adjunct professor in the Education Department at UNT. In my teacher life, I taught second and third graders in dual language classrooms.
